A trip of a lifetime

One of the best trips we've ever taken. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we were safe every step of the way. A particular highlight for us was kopan Monastery - the FPMT monastery above Kathmandu founded by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche; one-hour introductory teaching by a resident monk on the fundamentals of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy; the monastery views over the Kathmandu Valley are among the finest from any accessible point. Highly recommend View Himalaya to anyone considering this trip.
