A particular highlight for us was patan Museum Buddhist galleries - the finest collection of Newar Buddhist bronze and copper ritual objects in the world, displayed in the restored courtyard rooms of the Patan Durbar Palace; the guide's identification of iconographic details transforms what would otherwise be an overwhelming collection into a comprehensible journey through the Vajrayana pantheon.
