Could not have asked for a smoother experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we were safe every step of the way. A particular highlight for us was lumbini Sacred Garden - the UNESCO World Heritage Site marking the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama: the Mayadevi Temple enshrining the nativity marker stone; the 3rd-century BCE Ashokan Pillar (the oldest monument in Nepal); the Maya Devi Pond; the Eternal Peace Flame donated by Lumbini Development Trust nations. Highly recommend View Himalaya to anyone considering this trip.
