The best months for Chitwan safaris. Vegetation is lower after the monsoon and the autumn burning season, giving clear sight lines through the grassland. Temperatures are comfortable (18 - 28°C daytime, 8 - 14°C at night - bring a warm layer for dawn jeep safaris). Tiger sightings are most frequent in winter.
