A particular highlight for us was rani Ban forest - an uninterrupted canopy of oak, pine, rhododendron, and bamboo that begins literally at the Kathmandu city boundary; the transition from urban noise to complete forest quiet within 5 minutes of starting the trail is one of the hike's most striking features. We'd book with View Himalaya again without hesitation.
